A documentary about a group of dancers, brought together to create a piece around Sting’s song, “The Russians.” Shot at Humboldt State University, the
documentary not only shows the piece, but gives you an inside look at the process of putting together the dance.

(1991)

A sizzling short film dealing with a young black man who is accused of killing another man who was a friend of the family that raped him.
David took on the extra role of actor in this film as well and in 1991, the film won the Santa Maria Art Council Award for Best Visual Arts.

JESSICA KNOWS
(1994)
Short film about a woman who finds out her best friend and boyfriend are hired killers. David shot the film, "El Mariachi" style, using a Super 8 camera
in glorious black and white. Along with the film is a short documentary on the making of it.
